This extraordinary farmhouse has a distinctive U-shaped structure, with the house developing around a central patio. The interior was tastefully restructured in 2004 with the aim of maintaining the original features of the property. The wood beamed ceilings, as well as the terracotta floors, have been carefully preserved. Lambertino is one of the most beautiful farmhouses on the Argiano estate, and it belongs to the same family that owns the Castle. The spacious rooms conserve their original vaults, which perfectly blend with the interiors’ elegant furnishing, rich with antique pieces taken from the castle. The views from the farmhouse extend beyond the famous Montalcino vineyards, all the way to Mount Amiata. Because of the structure of this property, two families or two groups of adults may share Lambertino with each maintaining their privacy. The resident staff live in a separate apartment at the rear of the farmhouse, and are available to cook for the guests. The Castle of Argiano is one of the most famous wine producers of the Montalcino area, and tours of the winery are available for Lambertino guests. The exceptionally big swimming pool (14 x 7 m) is placed in a panoramic position in the well kept garden.
