This fascinating farmhouse has been restored in a very appealing country style by its owner, who added a very personal touch in the renovation. Along with the beamed ceilings and cotto floors, typical of the Tuscan tradition, warm colours were chosen for the interiors, making it charming and comfortable. Montevigna’s unique style has been portrayed in several interior design magazines. The stone-built property is located above the village of Marlia, famous for the historical villas of Lucca and their magnificent parks. This makes the views from the garden and swimming pool spectacular, since scattered in the surrounding countryside, with its olive groves, it is possible to see Villa Grabau and Villa Reale, where Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, Napoleon’s sister and Princess of Lucca, resided. Internet connection (wi-fi) available.
